4SITE Session: "Speed-Dating for Entrepreneurs"

Ever wondered how to do something and then remembered this guy, called him and heard him say: "Oh yeah, been there. This is how you do these things".

Well, this is what we're trying to do with the Entrepreneur Small Group Mentor session.

As you can see it on its event page, we have people  from Wikeez.com Foo-me.com, Woopra, Cedar Environmental, and other startups who will be at the session. What we'll do is have them spread out throughout the room, and ask attendees to go and ask them about lessons learned and beginners' mistakes to avoid.

The idea is that you only spend a few minutes with each entrepreneur before you move on to the next one. That way, you get to get as many ideas and pointers as possible, while entrepreneurs get as much exposure as possible.

It's win-win! And it should be fun too.

Ghady, of foo-me.com, calls it "Entrepreneur Speed-Dating". Unfortunately, I have to use a more serious official name for it, and so settled for the slightly over-the-top "Entrepreneur Small Group Mentor" term.
