4SITE Keynote 1: "The Human Resources Gap in the Region" - Mr. Rabea Ataya, CEO Bayt.com

Our first keynote of the conference will be given by Rabea Ataya, CEO of Bat.com. The keynote will be entitled: "The Human Resources Gap in the Region".

Bayt.com is "The largest job site in the Middle East – North Africa (MENA) region with over 1.3 million unique visitors each month" according to its Wikipedia entry.

Some highlights of the company:

- Founded in the year 2000, and headquartered in Dubai.

- 2.25 million job-seekers and in excess of 30,000 employers across the Middle East and North Africa.

- The company has 11 offices with more than 250 employees throughout the region.

As for Rabea Ataya, a few points:

- A Stanford graduate, with a BSc in electrical engineering and an MSc in engineering economic systems.

- A recipient of Middle Eastern E-Entrepreneur Award given by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, for his outstanding contributions to the region’s “knowledge economy".
